MMK increases shipments of steel in containers
Russian steelmaker MMK ramped up shipments of steel products in specialised containers in 2020, the company says. The company shipped 745,500 tonnes, which is 2.2 times more compared to the previous year, Kallanish notes.
Among the main advantages are simplicity, convenience and speed of unloading from specialised containers in comparison with open wagons, the enterprise claims. It also reduces cost.
