MMK eyes increasing presence in Egypt, Middle East
Russia's Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) aims to increase its presents in Egypt and the Middle East, the enterprise tells Kallanish. The firm is showcasing hot and cold rolled coil, long products and coated products at the Metal & Steel Middle East-2022 exhibition in Cairo this week.
Egypt is a priority export market for MMK. In 2021, its shipments there totalled 175,000 tonnes, the third-largest export market outside the CIS.
