Mexico’s ore output rises, coke at historic lows
Mexican iron ore output rose month-on-month in February, while pellet and first-grade coke decreased, Kallanish notes.
According to data from local statistics provider Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), the country produced 696,190 tonnes of iron ore during February. This was 7,504t more on-month and up 2.4% from the same period in 2023.
