Mexico’s automotive industry growth continues in May
The Mexican automotive sector saw its performance improve in May both month-on-month and year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), May output increased by 1.9% on-month to 365,574 units and was 4.9% higher on-year.
Of the 12 manufacturers monitored by Amia, General Motors had the largest monthly output of 70,691 units, followed by Nissan which produced 60,881 vehicles. Outpu…
