Mexico’s April flats production increases
Mexican flat rolled steel production in April increased year-on-year but decreased month-on-month, except for hot-dipped galvanized coil, Kallanish notes.
According to data from local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), Mexico produced 320,208 tonnes of hot rolled coil in April, down 14,453t from March but 0.4% more on-year.
