Metinvest sues Russia over damaged assets, steel plants
Metinvest Group says 16 of its companies have filed claims to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) against Russia for damages caused by Russia to its property and possessions in Mariupol and other Ukrainian territories.
Among others, Azovstal and Ilyich Steelworks have filed claims with regards to the Mariupol-based steel plants. Additionally, more than ten group companies will file similar claims by the end of this year, Kallanish notes.
