Metinvest decreases third-quarter output amid ongoing war

Metinvest decreased crude steel production in the third quarter by 43% on-quarter to 256,000 tonnes. This is due to the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war and the loss of its Mariupol assets – Azovstal and Ilyich Steelworks. The company also suspended work at its Avdiivka Coke plant.
