Saudi rebar demand seen healthy, Qatar concludes export
The Saudi Arabian long products market has settled following Hadeed’s nominal price increase for rebar and wire rod for December deliveries. Demand is reported to be healthy and manageable, Kallanish notes.
On Monday, Hadeed increased its rebar and wire rod prices each by SAR 50/tonne ($13) to SAR 2,750/t ($733) and SAR 2,950/t respectively for December deliveries.
