Malaysia automotive output soars in July
Malaysia’s vehicle production surged 19-fold on-year in July to 52,061 units, versus only 2,775 units in the year-earlier month.
January-July production thus rose 51.6% on-year to 369,994 units, from 244,063 units a year earlier.
Malaysian vehicle sales meanwhile fell 23.03% on-month to 48,922 units in July, Kallanish notes.
