Malaysia’s car production up on month in March
Malaysia’s car production grew 2% month-on-month to 66,923 units in March, in line with higher car sales, Kallanish notes.
The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) says in a statement that car production fell 12% year-on-year from 76,069 units.
From January to March, total car production grew 6% y-o-y to 210,431 units.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s car sales rose 10% m-o-m to 71,052 units in March.
