Northern Chinese steelmakers cooperate on inventory management
China’s Batou Iron & Steel, Anshan Iron & Steel, Tangshan Iron & Steel, Lingyuan Iron & Steel and Benxi Iron & Steel Group (Bengang) have agreed to cooperate on inventory management. The deal was ratified on 25 August, according to a Bengang Group announcement. The cooperation agreement mainly aims at cutting warehouse management and purchasing costs, Kallanish notes.
