Magnum, Midmetal to fund pig iron feasibility study
Magnum Mining has entered into an agreement with Midmetal to fund a feasibility study for green steel production in Saudi Arabia with iron ore concentrate sourced from Magnum's Buena Vista mine near Locklove, Nevada.
The feasibility study will be jointly funded, with a 50/50 split in investment between Magnum and Midmetal, and will utilise Magnum's HIsmelt iron-making technology, a direct iron reduction method that utilises biomass.
