UAE billet supplier bags local prompt-delivery orders
Rebar re-rollers in United Arab Emirates continue seeking imported billet supply due to its competitive prices. However, a local induction furnace mill has bagged orders thanks to its quick delivery for large quantities, Kallanish notes.
This week in UAE, a rebar re-roller received delivered SAE 1018 grade 8.7-meter-long billet offers from electric arc furnace Omani mills at around $535/tonne and from Saudi Arabia at around $515-520/t.
