Liugang, Bayi Steel report first-half losses
Because of lower production and weak fundamentals, China-listed Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Liugang) and Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel recorded losses for the first half of 2022, Kallanish learns from exchange filings.
In H1, Liugang produced 7.52 million tonnes of iron, 9.03mt of crude steel and 6.8mt of finished steel, down 8.57% and 5.38%, and up 9.31% from a year earlier, respectively.
