Line pipe pricing rises again in March
Average US line pipe prices posted another strong month of gains in March, Kallanish learns from analyst Pipe Logix.
Average pricing rose 5.9% on-month to $1,775/short ton. Domestic prices rose 5.7% to $2,000/st, while import prices rose 6.1% to $1,551/st.
March represents the sixth consecutive month of line pipe increases - up 32% cumulatively.
