Liepajas Metalurgs to be auctioned off in parts
KVV Liepajas Metalurgs (KVVLM) will be sold off in parts after the firm failed to attract a buyer that met creditors’ requirements, according to local press reports quoting administrator Guntars Koris.
The administrator is still open to negotiations with investors who would want to acquire the insolvent steelworks as a whole, but the plant can no longer be maintained at the state’s cost.
