Latvia gives Liepajas Metalurgs bidder two-week acquisition deadline
Latvia has given the bidder for insolvent steelworks KVV Liepajas Metalurgs (KVVLM) two weeks to finalise a potential acquisition, according to local press reports.
Latvian information agency LETA quotes eonomics minister Arvils Aseradens as saying negotiations with the potential buyer are ongoing but the investor is holding out for better terms. Within the two weeks deadline the potential buyer has to provide all necessary guarantees and transfer the financing.…
