LatAm crude steel production falls in April: Alacero

Latin America saw crude steel production fall sequentially in April. Output also remained weaker year-on-year, Kallanish notes. According to steelmakers’ association Alacero, regional crude steel production reached 4.91 million tonnes in April, down 0.6% on March’s volume of 4.94mt and 5.6% less on-year.
