Kungang prepares to operate new pellet plant
Kunming Iron & Steel (Kungang) in southwestern China ignited the new pellet plant at its new Caopu base in Anning City at the beginning of November, Kallanish notes.
Coke oven gas has been introduced for ignition, and it is estimated that the pellet plant will be officially put into production after 24 days of preparation.
The pellet plant is part of the overall relocation project and has a design capacity of 2.6 million tonnes/year.
