Krakatau sales jump on higher HRC volumes
Indonesia’s state-owned Krakatau Steel saw its sales volumes soar in the first quarter of 2018 as it increased shipments to major customers. It is also attempting to widen its customer base for hot rolled coil ahead of commissioning its new hot strip mill in 2019, Kallanish notes.
