Kobe Steel to close Singapore office in May
Japan's Kobe Steel says it will close its Singapore subsidiary, Kobe Steel Asia Pte. Ltd. (KSA), in May 2020, Kallanish notes.
KSA's operations will be transferred to Kobelco South East Asia Ltd. (KSEA), which is based in Bangkok, Thailand. The company explained that the purpose of the decision was to make operations more efficient by integrating sales support for steel products and technical services at one location.
