Court fines Kobe Steel JPY 100 million
Japan’s Kobe Steel was handed a JPY 100 million ($898,000) fine on 13 March due to its data fraud concerning product quality certification. The company says it is still pushing forward with its previously-announced reforms to solve the issue, Kallanish notes.
