Kobe Steel falls into loss

Japan’s Kobe Steel fell into losses in the financial year ending March 2020. The company says all its global plants are operating save one, Kallanish notes. In the 12 months to March, Kobe Steel produced 6.5 million tonnes of crude steel, down from 6.91mt the previous year.
