Kobe Steel exits Chinese construction machinery joint ventures
Kobe Steel has reacted to its losses over the first nine months of its fiscal 2016 by going back to basics in its Construction Machinery business segment. Or more specifically in the Chinese arena of that particular business area. It will dissolve its joint ventures with Chinese partners and run that part of its business on its own in the future, the steelmaker says.
