Kobe Steel declares unit falsified stainless wire tests
Shinko Wire Stainless Company has been found to have altered tensile strength test data for some of its spring wire products over April 2007-May 2016, according to Kobe Steel. The latter owns 30.7% of the former’s parent organisation, Shinko Wire Company. The products largely went to white goods manufacturers, Kallanish notes.
