Khorasan Steel grows domestic, export sales
Khorasan Steel (KSC) reported a 26% on-year increase in domestic rebar sales in the Iranian year through 19 March 2020 to 609,187 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Iranian steelmaker.
Exports amounted to 235,063t, of which 222,264t was billet and 12,799t rebar.
KSC’s billet production reached 1.08 million tonnes in the last Iranian year, up by over 12,000t from the previous year. The firm also produced 1.34mt of direct reduced iron, up 7,871t on-year. …
