Kazakhstan to see new billet plant
An investor by the name of QazSpetsSteel LLP plans to spend $587 million on building an 800,000 tonnes/year capacity billet plant in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, says the press service of the regional government.
Construction dates have not been specified. At full capacity, the plant will employ 1,500 people, Kallanish notes.
