Kardemir raises rod prices again

Kardemir has increased its wire rod prices by $25/tonne, while round bar is up $45/t in its 1 March price list, versus the previous lists of 22 February for rod and 1 February for round bar, Kallanish notes.
5.5-56mm SAE 1006 wire rod is pegged at $780-800/t, depending on diameter, while 5.5-56mm SAE 1008-1010 product is at $770-790/t.
Round bar is at $795/t for 20-100mm S235J grade and $830/t for S275JR grade. Other grades are at $840-900/t.
