Kardemir opens long steel sales
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod in its domestic market on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each decreased by TRY 160/tonne ($8.8/t) to TRY 11,695/t and TRY 11,785/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 10 August.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod kept unchanged at $635-700/t, from Kardemir's list on 23 August.
