Kanto Tetsugen scrap export auction prices fall
A tender for Japanese scrap exports on Thursday reflected a softening in prices over the past month, Kallanish notes.
The Kanto Tetsugen auction for scrap to be exported from Tokyo Bay attracted a highest bid of JPY 30,710/tonne ($273/t) fas for 5,000 tonnes by Econecol. The next highest bid was from Toyotsu at JPY 30,500/t for 15,000t.
