Kanto monthly scrap export tender price drops
The Kanto Tetsugen monthly scrap export tender settled lower on Thursday, Kallanish learns.
In the latest tender, which opened on 13 June, JFE Shoji Trade Corp was awarded 10,000 tonnes of Japanese H2 grade scrap at JPY 51,510/tonne ($328) fas. Toyota Tsusho Material Inc clinched another 15,000t at JPY 51,267/t. The average price for the total 25,000t is JPY 51,364/t, which is JPY 1,226/t lower than last month’s tender.
