Kanto monthly scrap export tender falls
The Kanto Tetsugen monthly scrap export tender settled lower on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
In the latest tender, which opened on 12 October, Toyota Tsusho Material was awarded 15,000 tonnes of Japanese H2 grade scrap at JPY 50,236/tonne ($337/t) fas. This is JPY 1,080/t lower than the association’s last tender on 12 September. The cargo is destined for Bangladesh again, market sources say.
