Kanto monthly export tender reflects market softening
The recent Kanto Tetsugen export tender reflects the downtrend in the market over the past month, Kallanish notes.
The Kanto Tetsugen Cooperative Association awarded 25,000 tonnes in its 12 July export tender at an average of JPY 44,554/tonne ($325/t) fas. This is JPY 9,006/t lower than its previous tender held last month. Nippon Steel Trading posted the highest-priced bid for 5,000t at JPY 45,031/t, while Sangyo Shinko bid for 5,000t at JPY 44…
