Turkey’s July coated flats exports maintain decline
Export shipments of coated flat steel products under HS code 7210 from Turkey declined significantly in July, widening the year-to-date annual difference, Kallanish learns from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Turkish exporters dispatched 119,222 tonnes of coated flats in the month, down 35.2% on-month and just half of July 2021 volumes. January-July volumes slid 17.5% on-year to 1 million tonnes, compared to the 9.9% decline after six months.
