JSW taps SMS Group to hit decarbonisation goals
JSW Steel on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a German-based SMS group to explore multiple cutting-edge solutions and R&D projects to reduce carbon emissions in its iron and steelmaking operations in India. The former will be investing INR 10,000 crores ($1.26 billion) to reduce carbon emissions, Kallanish notes.
