JSW production grows on hiked capacity utilisation
JSW Steel’s standalone crude steel output grew 15% on-year to 1.89 million tonnes in January, against 1.65mt a year earlier.
The firm’s flat-rolled steel production rose 14% to 1.42mt, against 1.25mt last year. Long steel production increased 14% to 425,000t, against 374,000t in the corresponding period, Kallanish notes.
