Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) reduced coking coal and coke sales in 2022, while thermal coal deliveries were at their highest since 2019. The Polish miner achieved all-time record profit, Kallanish notes.
JSW saw external coking coal sales fall 7% on-year in 2022 to 6.4 million tonnes. However, average sales price soared 144% to PLN 1,510.5/tonne ($348). Production was flat at 11mt.
