Jiugang to complete blast furnace upgrade by mid-year
Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Jiugang) in Gansu province has accelerated upgrade work on its No.7 2,500-cubic-metre blast furnace in March. The company now aims to complete the refurbishment by the end of June, Kallanish notes.
