Jinxi Steel ignites new sinter plant
Tangshan Jinxi Steel has ignited a 450㎡ sintering machine at its West factory area in Qianxi County, which is part of the company’s equipment upgrade project announced in 2019.
The new facility adds 4.25 million tonnes/year of sinter capacity to the firm, resulting in a net drop of 50,000 t/y of the company’s total sinter capacity. Jinxi Steel’s total sinter capacity thus stands at 14.79m t/y, Kallanish notes.
