Jinxi Steel completes blast furnace top
Hebei Jinxi Steel completed on 19 October the top welding work of its 2,000-cubic meter blast furnace. The welding work was constructed by MCC 19, Kallanish notes.
Jinxi Steel is carrying out this project in Tangshan to replace existing capacity. It needs to demolish all blast furnaces below 550 cubic meters and converters below 50 tonnes. It plans to build two new 2,000 m3 blast furnaces and two 150-t converters (see Kallanish passim). The f…
