Jingye commissions first phase of scrap processing factory
China’s Hebei Jingye Group has commissioned the first phase of its ferrous scrap processing project this week, reaching a capacity of 2 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
With the help of Phase II under construction, Jingye expects to finally form 5m t/y of scrap processing capacity. The company sees the project as an important step in its green transition.
