Jindal Stainless to divest Jindal Coke stake
Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL), one of India's leading stainless steel manufacturers, is set to divest its entire 26% stake in Jindal Coke Ltd (JCL) by September 2024, Kallanish understands.
Jindal Coke, a subsidiary of JSL, operates a facility with a capacity of 0.43 million tonnes/year in Kalinganagar, Odisha.
In the first phase, JSL has already sold a 4.87% share in Jindal Coke to JSL Overseas (JOL) for over INR 36.49 crore ($4.37m).
