Jianlong Agang operates hot-dip galvanised pipe line
Jianlong Group’s Acheng Iron & Steel (Agang) has started to operate its 220,000 tonnes/year capacity hot-dip galvanising line for welded pipe, which is also the first one in Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, Kallanish notes.
The line is expected to help reduce construction costs in the province. “The average transportation cost of products purchased from Jilin or Tianjin is about CNY 250-280/tonne ($38.6-43.2/t),” Agang states.
