Japan’s steel output rebounds slowly in May
Japan's May production of pig iron, crude steel and hot rolled steel products all rebounded from April, but remained lower than the year-ago level. Year-to-date volumes declined y-o-y at a faster pace, according to data from the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF).
