Japan’s steel exports fall despite China, Taiwan hike
Japan’s iron and steel exports rebounded on-month in May this year, but both the monthly volume and year-to-date exports were higher than a year earlier. Meanwhile, imports showed opposite trends in all aspects, according to a monthly report released by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF).
