Japanese scrap prices soften
Kanto Tetsugen's latest monthly export tender for Japanese scrap from Tokyo Bay has settled at lower prices, Kallanish notes.
The Kanto Tetsugen Cooperative Association auction held on Friday attracted a winning bid of JPY 34,050/tonne ($299/t) fas from Houei Trading Corp. Sangyo Shinko Co. submitted the other award bid at JPY 33,700/t.
