Japanese scrap continues slide

An export tender for Japanese scrap widely observed by regional participants reflects a downturn in the market, Kallanish notes. In Japan, Tokyo Steel has continued to press down domestic scrap prices. Econecol posted the highest bid in the 11 April Kanto Tetsugen auction for scrap to be exported from Tokyo Bay.
