Kobe Steel commissions wire plant in Mexico
Kobelco CH Wire Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. (KCHM), a joint venture of Shinsho Corporation, Kobe Steel and four other companies, held an opening ceremony last week to mark the official start of production. The total investment value for this project is $35 million and the new facility covers an area of 41,225 square metres, Kallanish notes.
