French scrap market foresees limited January decline
Declining French scrap prices are forecast to be contained this month, as opposed to the steep drop foreseen in Italy where prices skyrocketed again in December to reach peak July levels.
In Spain, scrap values are declining slightly, by €15/tonne ($16). Italian mills are expected to slash their purchasing values by over €30/t this month.
