Italian wire rod demand continues to drag
The Italian wire rod market continues to stagnate after the sector restarted in September following a long break in August. Producers throughout Europe are heavily cutting production to balance demand and supply but this is having no positive effect on demand.
Prices remain mostly stable compared to last month with sales volumes low and purchases only implemented back-to-back, meaning no change from previous months.
